Please know that the goal is all-day, everyday participation, as this will not only help you get the most out of the experience, but also help demonstrate consistent love and concern to those to whom we are ministering. However, we recognize that due to COVID-19, some of you may not be able to get the entire week off of work. Explanation of the Mission Fund

Purpose:
This fund is to be used to facilitate the involvement of FBC's members in participating in the Great Commission through mission projects and mission trips.

Strategic Focus:
The intent of this fund is to help the members of the church participate in FBC's agreed upon strategy. This means that these resources are to be used for participating in mission trips according to the nations, states, or regions of FBC's current strategic focus.

Recipients:
Members of First Baptist Church, Mount Orab, who are planning to participate in a mission project or mission trip, must be members in good standing, faithful attendance in Sunday School and worship, and actively serving in the ministry of FBC. A recipient must be recommended by the On Mission Team to the church body for approval. The recipient can be eligible to receive from this fund a stipend of up to 60% of the cost of the project/mission trip.

Church Approval:
The On Mision Team will act as the initial screening organism of applicants. All applicants must be approved by the church body before receiving a stipend from the fund.

Mission Projects:
The intent of this fund is to facilitate the involvement of FBC members in Southern Baptist work. Our mission projects will normally be in cooperation with the International Mission Board (IMB), the North American Mission Board (NAMB), the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio (SCBO), other states' Baptist conventions, the Cincinnati Area Baptist Association (CABA), other Southern Baptist Churches, or some other Southern Baptist entity.
